Male jewellery piece: Pasta Penne

Inspiration: Military, Tribal Culture

Inspiration for my pasta jewellery piece came from military-style uniforms and Masai tribal accessories. I wanted to mix a more formal style with something that is considered a more primitive style, yet very passionate and courageous. The main material for making the piece was pasta penne and feather.

I adopted an old corpus of a male mannequin which had to be slightly repaired. First thing I covered it with shiny black spray. The trend was called One man army. The research was leading toward Napoleon military style. Quite liked the idea of mixing various warriors styles ... throughout history, geography and race ... Who at the same time would share the same stamina, spirit and lust for life.
