Milonga & Tango in Dublin
During the break of the economic crisis, that hit Ireland in 2008, one way of dealing with the difficult situation for many was to start a new hobby. For me, it was tango ... besides swimming which is my first love and always will be. I recall the long winter evenings in different venus across Dublin town hiding from the rain learning and practising a new skill. Turned out sometime later it wasn't for me ... felt too much like fantasy and escape. But it was good for as long as it lasted ... it is definitely good for networking. Ladies that like to take control in life will learn how to trust their leader and learn the art of letting it go ... This is a project I was challenged to do with a manual camera which later on was developed in the darkroom.

Milonga dance incorporates the same basic elements as Tango but permits a greater relaxation of legs and body. Movement is normally faster, and pauses are less common. It is usually a kind of rhythmic walking without complicated figures, with a more humorous and rustic style in contrast with the serious and dramatic Tango.
