Dublin Botanic Gardens

The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland are an oasis of calm and beauty, and entry is free. A premier scientific institution, the Gardens contain important collections of plant species and cultivars from all over the world. The National Botanic Gardens in Dublin are located in Glasnevin, just three kilometres from Dublin City Centre, and are famous for the exquisitely restored historic glasshouses.

Grass garden

Ornamental grasses. The whole garden is created plainly out of grasses in this part of the Botanic Garden in Dublin and it's wonderful. The grasses swing in the wind like an ocean wave, they whistle in the wind relaxing tunes. I got to know them while working for Mount Venus Nursery and that's when I fell in love with them. No grass is average for me ever since ... each in my mind could be a part of a very chill, fairy-tale-like garden.

If for any reason you would like to get in touch with me ...
