Luxury: High fashion hat
Inspiration: Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture
This luxury hat display is inspired by The Guggenheim Museum in New York which looks to me like a ready to wear hat, simple and stylish. The display plinth is inspired by The Falling Water House in Pennsylvania. These shapes complement each other and yet are a suitable contrast. I chose the shades of brown and blue to complement the leather accessories on display.

To make a display based on architectural style was hard to grasp. I chose the two most iconic buildings designed by F.L. Wright and combined them. The elements of nature water or the sky are reflected in the blue wall, light brown represents the wood and autumn. Light, soft colours are contradicting with hard shapes and corners in the structure. Suspending heavy pieces on nylon thread was quite a challenge. I had a problem matching the accessories. At first, I went for blue colour items... which did not work at all!
The monochromatic set worked much better with a small hint of the silk scarf. I was happy with the final result even though at first, I did not understand the final goal ...
